Last days of Preparation

1. The action of making ready or being made ready for use.

2. Something done to get ready for an event or undertaking.

On Thursday we broke ground at the field where we will be performing.
We tested a few new ideas and some old ones.
Checked a couple of video angles for recording.
It was hot as hell probably pushed 100 degrees easily.

Its almost time.

This was a very challenging project in many ways. The structural components were time consuming however, it was not nearly as difficult as sweating your butt of in very hot temperatures and cutting down crops with your bare hands.

Ron helped us dig the hole needed for the project.

The hunters blind was used for a birds eye view of the location.

Golden Fields

At the field where we will be performing, Malena's nephew Daniel decided to help us take some shots.

This field was very beautiful with its golden color. Here we decided on the center location for the project. Utilizing all angles of visual perspective to refine the positioning.

Then of course we followed up with a little swim in the near by river!

River was amazing!

From the start this Project has been amazing.I never thought working with other artists would be so interesting. Each person has many unique qualities and at the same time having so many similar trates.

Working with Malena has taught me so much. First it nice to see a person who believes in similar things and strives to educate people about the world and the role that Art takes place within it.

The Metal Flew Everywhere

More construction and design. Finished with a dance by Riff.

We spent last sunday working out some of the ideas and details. One of them being how could we get ~300 pounds of ice to rest at eleven feet in the air.

How to add an element of frozen water to the project became our main focus.

Then came the decision to add another ten feet to the "Tower."

I have Been Constructing a tower that will be centered in the performance. This tower features several conceptual components.

Malena Bergmann Invited me to perform in a project that is just a few weeks away. I wanted to share the story of how this has and is happening.

Here she sits inside a plastic tube she will later be buried within.
